Needing to differentiate their brand at the crowded Sydney International  Motor Show, Ssangyong looked to Staffing - a professional generalist staffing provider with national capabilities – for a complete solution!

Creating a vibrant and dynamic atmosphere, our expert consultants attracted customers to the Ssangyong exhibition area, dealt with ‘frontline’ customer service enquiries and initiated the sales process. Ssangyong outsold all competitors at the show, delivering the best possible return on investment!

Ssangyong Motors, a relatively new company into the Australian motor vehicle market was very hesitant in using a promotional company for the 2005 Sydney International Motor Show. Aware of the often negative images conjured up of promotional staff draped over car bonnets, Ssangyong knew they needed a very professional organisation to represent their upmarket brand.

Staffing realised that the key ingredient for success in this campaign was the establishment of a trusting relationship between Ssangyong and Staffing. Free and open discussions were held prior to making any contractual arrangements, assisting Ssangyong staff to overcome their initial concerns and enabling both parties to work together to a complete success.

A careful staff selection process was facilitated as per Ssangyongs’ detailed brief, then with final approval from the client, Staffing was clear to commence with the campaign.

All Staffing consultants were fully trained on the entire Ssangyong car   range, becoming a part of the Ssangyong team as they were encouraged    to take control of the event. Staffing provided five well presented, enthusiastic and professional female consultants, including some   multilingual staff to cater to the diverse ethnicities of patrons entering the exhibition.

Ssangyong’s potential customers found it comforting to be able to deal with promotional staff members that were well versed in the vehicle range and in particular, being able to relate to a consultant in their native language.

Overall, Ssangyong had a very successful exhibition, selling more cars than any other company!
