the challenge
Innovation and Business Skills Australia is one of ten organisations within the Industry Skills Councils for the Vocational Education and Training (VET) system which is recognised and funded by the Australian Government. IBSA is directly involved in developing information which will be included in training documentation in various areas of Business Services, Cultural and Related Industries, Education, Financial Services, Information and Communication Technologies, and Printing and Graphic Arts.
IBSA approached Staffing in need of not just any temp, but a highly motivated temp with strong diversity of experience. A broad position description can often mean the search for the right candidate can be challenging, however with Staffing’s wide ranging database of available staff this was not a problem.
IBSA required an experienced administrative professional on a temporary basis who could also manage the bookkeeping to cover leave. This assignment began as a two week campaign, however due to the excellent work ethic and strong cultural fit of the candidate Staffing placed in the organisation, it is scheduled to continue until December 2008. This is an extension of over seven months.
