Procurement Manager 116,863 - 156,387(Plus Superannuation) Fixed Term till 30 June 2020 Usual hours of work Full Time (flexibility may be available) Usual work location Melbourne CBD (flexibility may be available) The position of senior Procurement Manager forms a part of the Resources division, Earth Economic development branch within the Employment, Investment and Trade group. The Procurement Manager will lead procurement and contracting activity to support delivery of the geoscience component of the Victorian Gas Program (VGP). The position will undertake complex procurement planning, tendering, contract formation and contract management activities, while ensuring compliance with legislation and Victorian Government Procurement Board and Departmental procurement policies, processes, procedures and guidelines. Reporting to the Manager Energy Geoscience, the Procurement Manager will provide expert advice and liaise closely with VGP geoscience professionals and Geological Survey of Victoria management regarding all aspects of procurement and contract management. To be successful in this role you will have experience in conducting and managing complex procurements, sound conceptual and analytical skills. Strong stakeholder management skills and high communication skills are vital to this role.
