The client:
Our client is an expert in the field of designing and producing high quality beverage caps and closures to compliment the products of their customers.

The role:
As a Printing Machine Operator, it will be your role and responsibility to ensure the process of embossing and printing of beverage closures is running at an optimal level whilst ensuring and maintaining the highest standards of qualities in your product.
This role is not for the faint hearted, therefore you must meet a strict criteria to be considered.


The successful applicant will:

  • Be able to work 8 hour day shifts
  • Be able to work in a demanding role
  • Have a strong mechanical aptitude
  • Possess a current High Risk Forklift Licence
  • Be able to follow and adhere to the strictest of safe work practices and procedures
  • Possess a HIGH level of communication skills, BOTH verbal & written
  • Have high commitment to work and proven tenure in previous roles

  • Have previous experience in a FMCG environment
  • Display a proven strong work ethic
  • Be able to problem-solve and trouble-shoot
  • Work well within a team environment

Our company is currently looking for a qualified and experienced Fleet Maintenance Supervisor to join our team.

The Role:

You will be responsible for the maintaining of our fleet of equipment, including scheduling servicing, organizing maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on a variety of heavy and light vehicles including mobile machinery. You will need to be self-motivated and highly organized.

To be successful in this role you must have:

  • Trade qualified and experience in the field of Heavy Vehicle Road Transport – Trucks & Trailers
  • Previous supervision & scheduling skills / experience essential
  • Extensive experience and knowledge in repairing, servicing, breakdowns and preventative maintenance, along with fault identification and rectification
  • Current HC drivers license
  • High Risk Forklift License (LF) would be advantageous
  • Scheduling Servicing of all equipment.
  • Computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft and maintenance programs (Mex highly regarded)
  • An understanding of Industry OHS requirements
  • Strong time management & organizing skills
  • The ability to work as part of a team but also work autonomously
  • Provide current police check

Be able to pass drug & alcohol testing & medicals if required

Ability to work overtime and work away as required.

Perform other ad-hoc duties

Pay rate will be determined by qualification and experience.

As a transport allocator you will be responsible for:

  • Allocating trucks to transport a variety of material and machines to carry out each jobs requirements.
  • Update contractor portals ensuring that all information is captured and relevant.
  • Place outbound calls to pool of contractors regularly to keep at the forefront of availability.
  • Receive and handle inbound calls with a high level of customer service.
  • Interact with a variety of stakeholders to ensure all bookings are captured and fulfilled each day on the booking sheet.
  • Ensure that current contractors meet required compliance standards.
  • Excellent communication skills to build report and communicate with contractors.
  • Ability to work in a high pressure fast paced environment essential
  • Satisfactory level of computer competency (specific training will be provided)
  • playing your part as a member of a high performing team.
  • The ideal candidate will also have the following:

  • Possess strong attention to detail
  • Professional phone manner with the ability to build report

My client is a large, well-known Transport and Logistics organisation that is currently seeking an experienced Fleet Controller to join the team out in Altona on a temporary basis

You will have:

  • 3+ years experience in a similar position
  • SAP database preferred
  • The ability to problem solve & work under pressure within a busy transport environment
  • Excellent time management skills
  • An understanding of pallet control
  • The ability to work independently and within a team
  • A high level of customer service
  • Ability to grow with the business and be company focused

Responsibilities include:

  • Manifesting driver paperwork
  • Allocating drivers, company and sub-contractor fleet
  • Planning and allocating pickup and delivery tasks to ensure all pickups and deliveries are completed in accordance with customer and legislative requirements.
  • Creating pallet dockets
  • Booking in customer freight
  • Liaising with customers with a focus on a high level of customer service
  • Problem solving of warehousing and delivery issues
  • Assisting stock control

Overtime would be a requirement of the role at casual overtime rates
