  • Accounts Payable and Receivable

  • General office duties

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in Freight & Logistics is desirable but not essential
  • Knowledge of EDI processing
  • Experience using accounting software
  • Attention to detail and high degree of accuracy in data processing
  • Flexible and ability to multi task
  • Ability to work unsupervised

Your daily duties will include:

  • BAS and IAS preparation and lodgement
  • AP and AR
  • Weekly Payroll for up to 10 staff and additional subcontractors
  • 3 Subsidiaries
  • Reporting and presenting figures to management
  • Cash flow reporting
  • Managing reporting
  • Liaising with and assisting internal and external parties
  • Ad-hoc administration duties

To be successful for the role you will have the following attributes:

  • Experience in a similar role using XERO
  • Strong MS Office and Excel skills
  • Experience dealing with multiple entities
  • Excellent communication skills and a high attention to detail
  • Effective time management and organisation skills
  • A highly level of discretion, accountability and professionalism
  • Relevant bookkeeping experience within the construction industry preferred

About the role

Estia Health are looking for an experienced Financial Analyst to play a key role in the Corporate Finance team. This role helps manage the financial platform relied upon for budgeting and forecasting, capital reporting allowing for confident management decision making and key stakeholder guidance. There is also opportunities to contribute to improved processes in fixed asset and CapEx areas in addition to performing high quality weekly reports/dashboards across our national business.

About you

You’ll bring to the role your energy, attention to detail and drive. You will have:

  • 2-5 years' experience accounting experience.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Finance (or related discipline) with CA/CPA membership or working towards.
  • Demonstrated experience in capital management, project management, planning and analysis skills.
  • Corporate finance/ forecasting experience would be highly regarded.
  • Well homed communication skills (both written and verbal) with advanced presentation and financial appraisal/analysis skills.
  • Aged Care experience desirable.
  • Advanced excel/powerpoint skills.
  • Experience with Epicor and Anaplan would also be highly regarded.

We are looking for a part time dynamic, experienced bookkeeper to join our expanding bookkeeping team at our busy Accounting practice. The role provides variety working with several of our clients alongside our energetic team of professionals. 

This is an opportunity to use your experience in a highly reputable business where you will be supported by experienced professionals, systems, work processes and ongoing training and development. 

Duties & Responsibilities 

Alongside our accounting team, you will work with our small to medium business clients and provide general bookkeeping and payroll services, including: 

  • Accounts Receivable/Payable.
  • Bank reconciliation. 
  • Payroll processing STP and PAYG & superannuation reconciliation.
  • Monthly/quarterly reporting.
  • Assisting in the preparation of Instalment & Business Activity Statements.
  • Experience with managing multiple clients and multi-tasking.
  • Sound knowledge of Xero, MYOB and/or Quickbooks (QBO).
  • A sound working knowledge of basic accounting practices. 
  • Proficiency with excel.
  • Highly organised.
  • A minimum of 3+ years bookkeeping experience.
  • Ability to work autonomously but also operate as part of a team.

You will be a motivated, enthusiastic and efficient individual with exceptional attention to detail, time-management and prioritisation skills. In addition, you will have excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, and the ability to naturally build relationships with our clients.
