How You’ll Shine

Our company’s vision is to put the world on vacation! As a Guest Service Agent, you will be responsible to provide a personalised yet consistent experience to our valued owners and guests during their stay. A focus on providing a high level of service to support their needs along with supporting the day-to-day operation of the hotel front desk. This includes but is not limited to;

  • Greeting and registering of owners and guests through a personalised check in and check out process
  • Providing information to local area attractions & dispensing information and portage of luggage,
  • Cash handling and balancing procedures,
  • Tour & travel enquiries/bookings & reservations,
  • Supporting night audit procedures
  • Be confident in advising guests on the local area attractions and public transport
  • Be fully conversant with rates, room configurations and room availability
  • Increase room sales for walk -in and non-owner market & monitor and manage availability to non-owners
  • Ensure resort security procedures are always adhered to
  • Assure that office supply inventory levels are maintained and updated as needed

The Lakes  Hotel requires self motivated, confident, reliable individuals with strong communication skills to join our team.

With a friendly, energetic personality, the ability to work unsupervised - and an attention to detail - you will become an important asset to the hotel.

Porter responsiblities include setting up Function Rooms, general housekeeping , restaurant and guest services.

Full training will be provided.

The Porter hours would vary and cover the ranges of 5pm-11pm, 11pm-6am and 6am-11am over a 7 day roster.

The relevant casual wage will be paid.

Experience in a similar role and having RSA certification, First Aid and Covid Marshal training would be highly regarded.

Hospitality experience particularly in Front Office and RSA certification would be highly regarded

Do you want to be a part of the expanding Distillery scene? Ambleside Distillers Tasting Bar offers visitors unique experiences including masterclasses, Gin tasting flights, cocktails or other beverages and food - a lot of which is locally sourced. 

We are looking for a guru FOH staff member to assist us with running the floor at our tasting bar. Applicants must have the flowing skills set to be considered for the role;

  • Experience running sections as a waiter
  • Experience with booking systems
  • Table management
  • Efficiently seating and managing customers from bookings and walk-ins
  • Hold RSA certification

Our busy tasting bar is looking for someone committed to providing excellent customer service in a fast pasted environment. You must be available to work day shifts Thursday to Sunday and 18 to 24 hours per week are on offer. You will be running our customers through tasting flights, taking them through our menu and Gins, running food and drinks, clearing tables and managing sections and bookings.

We have a focus of providing our customers with a unique one off experience centered around customer service and we're looking for an experienced, charismatic and friendly FOH guru to join our distillery in Hahndorf in the Adelaide Hills.
