The Position:

  • Sandvik mining fleet 420, 421, 422i, 517, 521, 551, 663 – Volvo & Cat ancillary fleet.
  • FIFO or DIDO.
  • Underground clients in the Goldfields region on major gold projects.
  • 8/6 or 2/2 or 2/1 Roster
  • Up to $75.00 per hour.
  • Carry out scheduled servicing to mobile equipment in a safe manner and in accordance with procedures, regulations and the service sheet.
  • Attend to breakdowns in a timely manner.
  • Utilise skills and experience to prevent downtime on machinery.
  • Ensure correct recording and reporting of maintenance is achieved.

What we need from you:

  • Auto Electrical Trade Certificate (Australian recognised)
  • Experience working on heavy mobile equipment
  • C Class Manual Driver's License

Due to the continued growth of our clients Electrical Division, they have an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Construction Project Manager with extensive experience to join their team to help deliver a recently awarded Project. Based in Central West NSW, the role is site based with a nearby regional city and will be highly operationally focused.

As a key member of the Project, you will be responsible for:
  • Delivering project solutions on time, on budget, within scope, and with high quality to our client
  • Developing and maintaining effective and collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, including client representatives
  • Creating detailed work plans which identifies, and sequences delivery activities
  • Reviewing the project schedule and quality of work completed with senior supervisors and other project staff
  • Executing the project in accordance with project plans and driving project progress
  • Establishing and fostering a positive safety culture with a proactive commitment to workplace health, safety and the environment
  • Building and maintaining productive relationships with site contractors and suppliers relevant to the delivery of the project
  • Establishing, enhancing and maintaining relationships with the site client
  • Managing the preparation of schedules, budgets, reports and forecasts for the project
  • Ensuring all project activities comply with relevant Acts, legal requirements and ethical standards
  • Generating and recognising solutions and innovations for the project
Ideally, you will possess the following past experience and qualifications:
  • A proven track record in Project Management and strong commercial acumen
  • Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in Electrical Project Management, with either a Trade Qualification or relevant Tertiary Engineering Qualification
  • Solid organisational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Project
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • A customer focused, team oriented, accountable and results driven approach, with the ability to adapt to requirements in a changing environment

Our Maintenance Planner role:

This position is within the Asset Management Department, reporting to the Fixed Plant Maintenance Planning & Scheduling Coordinator. You will be accountable for shutdown planning activities for the underground mining fixed plant assets at Northparkes to ensure business performance and Zero Harm operations.

You will also contribute to MPA master data management and resource planning with contractors and determine the resources, methods and processes needed to perform maintenance work efficiently and to timeframes that support business performance and strategy.

A permanent residential opportunity based in Parkes NSW, this is fantastic opportunity for a team player, working a Monday - Friday roster.

The successful applicant will possess thefollowing essential criteria:

  • Maintenance background
  • Demonstrated post apprenticeship in mining or heavy industry
  • Developed written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience with CMMS with an emphasise of planning functions
  • Experience with Microsoft Office software
  • Current manual driver’s license
